After a torrid general election night which seems to have further exposed the deep social, political and economic divisions in our country, what better time for Liberty, campaigners for people’s rights, to embark on a ‘Keep Britain Kind’ campaign, in association with illustrator David Shrigley.

I totally love these postcards, above and below, which may be purchased, along with t-shirts, mugs and totes, on the Keep Britain Kind website where you will also find information about the campaign.

It’s a message that resonates with me as it’s the driving force that supports my own social/economic/political beliefs. It’s the underlying reason, I hope, that the Tories didn’t get the majority they expected.

After all, as Sandi Toksvig so memorably said: ‘the Tories put the ‘C’ in cuts’. Who’d want to vote for those people?

If you feel similarly, and the election result seems to indicate many do, click across and support the Liberty Campaign and spread the message, whatever your personal views.

Believe in it: act on it; talk about it.
